Old brass coal basket – circa 1900–1930

For sale is a beautiful old English brass coal basket, probably from the early 20th century. The basket has a hammered surface, a movable decorative handle and a side handle for pouring coal. The inside of the item is naturally darkened - this is normal and adds to the original old-time feel.

Perfect for a fireplace mantel, flower pot or eye-catching interior design element. Strong, heavy metal with a genuine patina.

Condition: Good old item, with wear and darkening due to age.
