Vintage West German ceramic pedestal/flower stand

A striking West German ceramic pedestal, made in West Germany in the mid-20th century. The beautiful olive green glaze and classic columnar design with embossed acanthus leaves and vertical grooves make it an eye-catching interior design element.

Originally designed as a flower stand, it is also perfect for displaying a sculpture, vase or art object. A very fine example of prized West German ceramics, popular with both retro and mid-century style lovers.
