Vintage “Petal” flower-shaped bowls – Shorter & Son Ltd, Staffordshire, England

Beautiful vintage English pottery set from the well-known “Petal” series, manufactured by Shorter & Son Ltd. The floral design and soft pink and light blue pastel tones are hand-painted and characteristic of mid-20th century Staffordshire pottery.

Perfect for decorative use or display.

The set includes:

1 large flower-shaped bowl – in very good condition

1 smaller suitable bowl – with a fine crack (stable, suitable for display)

Condition:

Large bowl: very good vintage condition

There is a visible crack on the small bowl.

Slight glaze crack and bottom marks consistent with age
