Antique EPNS silver-plated spoon with floral engraving – early 20th century – €18
A charming antique EPNS (Electroplated Nickel Silver) silver-plated spoon with a delicate floral engraving on the bowl and an elegant fluted handle reminiscent of the late Edwardian or art deco style.
Probably made in England circa 1910-1930 and part of a dessert or serving set. The engraving and design of the spoon suggest it was perhaps used to serve jam or sugar.
EPNS items were common but exquisitely executed parts of early 20th century banquet tables and are now prized collector's items.
