A beautiful late 19th - early 20th century writing chest, made of oak and decorated with brass Art Nouveau ornaments. The sloping surface opens to a writing area covered in green felt, with secret drawers underneath for storing documents and pens. The top lid opens separately and contains compartments for ink bottles and writing utensils.
An elegant and practical item that is perfect for a collection, a gift or as a decorative detail.
Condition: In good antique condition, wear and patina consistent with age. Strong and complete.
