Vintage Bohemian ruby red decanter set (6 glasses + decanter)
A beautiful mid-20th century Bohemian (Czech) ruby glass carafe set, decorated with thick gilding and embossed enamel flowers. The set includes a tall stoppered carafe and six matching goblets. All details are hand-painted with gold ornaments and colorful enamel details.
This type of glass was produced between 1950 and 1970 in the Nový Bor and Harrachov region, which is known for its high-quality decorative glass. The ruby red glass combined with heavy gilding creates a very impressive and luxurious appearance.
Condition:
Some wear to the gilding, especially on the neck of the carafe, but the overall picture is clean and bright. There are no chips or cracks. The cap fits nicely.
